One character. A calmer Studio.
Agent retries keep the same example project, rigging has clearer joint-to-joint tools, and the homepage orcs take a breather.
- Repeated agent example requests and example links resume their open project, including edits. A fresh copy is explicit.
- Close other tabs saves the active project and keeps the other saved projects available.
- Agents can create bones from world-space joint endpoints, inspect limb alignment and preview the actual skeleton over the artwork.
- Rigging guidance explains connected limb chains and warns when a low-level bone is created without a direction.
- Both Pixel and HD orc previews now use fixed-facing idle cycles. Reduced-motion visitors see matching stills.
Four tools. One creative home.
Your saved projects, reusable artwork, reliable transfers and new starting points now meet in one Studio.
- Resume saved work from all four tools in Your studio, including editable PixelForge projects.
- Keep original files on a local asset shelf and download a portable backup of saved projects and assets.
- Queue transfers between tools, retry failures and keep files until the receiving tool confirms a saved import.
- Try the original Sprout Bot starter and new Sprite Puppeteer, PixelForge and MeshForge walkthroughs.
- See recent releases, send feedback from any tool, and submit a creation for a manually reviewed showcase credit.
- Manage new hosted share links and unpublish them with their private creator keys.
Your sprite sheets, with room to edit
Bring a PNG sheet, shape its clips, and inspect the result before exporting.
- Slice PNG sheets without a JSON file: choose the grid, name clips and assign directions.
- Keep imported frame holds and forward, reverse or ping-pong playback.
- Trim clips, adjust individual frame holds, and reset edits without changing the original image.
- Draw hitboxes and hurtboxes, refine frame events, and choose which animations to export.
- Preview the packed sheet with transparency and optional foot-pivot guides before downloading.
Clearer starts. Safer saves. Calmer exports.
The everyday Sprite Puppeteer workflow has clearer controls and better recovery when browser storage fills up.
- Import artwork or choose a sample from the start bar, then frame the character at a useful zoom.
- See whether changes are saved in this browser, download a project backup, and retry a failed save.
- Review export estimates, follow progress, or cancel before a file is handed to the browser.
- HD sample artwork loads one camera at a time instead of loading every view at once.
A clearer map of the Studio
The Studio’s pages now describe the four tools and their relationships more consistently.
- Connected page descriptions help search engines and assistants distinguish the four tools.
- Breadcrumbs make it easier to move between the docs and their parent pages.
- Tool descriptions explain which features run in your browser and which optional services use your provider key.
Meet the Keyframe Crew
A home for the people helping keep the pixels moving.
- The Crew page celebrates supporters who have chosen a public credit.
- Four membership mascots give the thank-you a little character.
- Supporting the Studio is optional; the tools stay free to use.
